By using image.dev, you agree to these terms. They’re short because the service is simple.
The service
image.dev provides free image tools — converting, compressing and resizing — that run entirely in your web browser. There are no accounts and no uploads; the tools operate on files you choose, on your own device.
Your files and content
You keep all rights to the files you process. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and convert them, and for not using the tools to process content that is illegal or that infringes someone else’s rights.
Acceptable use
Use the site for its intended purpose. Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, or misuse the service, and don’t use it for anything unlawful.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. While the converters aim to be accurate, we can’t guarantee a particular result for every file or format. Always keep your original files.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, image.dev and its maker are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including any loss of data or files. Because processing happens on your device, you remain in control of your files at all times.
Intellectual property
The image.dev name, site, and software belong to their maker. These terms don’t grant you any rights to them beyond using the tools as offered.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use means you accept the current terms.
